Developed by industry veterans Nancy Peacock and Queenie Mullinix of Washington Street Publishing, with careers in music publishing and sync licensing spanning over 25 years. As songwriters, they use their skills and experience to mentor other writers. With traditional revenue for songwriters declining, sync licensing offers a new world of opportunities and increased income.
Registration for C2S Registration runs through May 22nd with an early bird discount of $100 for the first two weeks (April 9-22). Sign up for the course HERE.
Course creators Peacock and Mullinix shared, “Over the years, we've listened to thousands of songs while looking for the best to add to our multi-genre sync library. Many came close but needed some composition tweaks, better production, or both. Others we loved and wanted to sign but couldn't because they were not legally clearable for film & TV usage. There are distinct differences between writing songs for country artists and writing for film, TV, and advertising, and Country2Sync can help songwriters bridge that gap. Originally designed with country songwriters in mind, our course is packed with valuable ‘insider’ information that will benefit writers of all genres.”
Country2Sync offers an affiliate program that provides marketing materials and a 50% commission on sales generated through proprietary links. Register for participation here.
Unlike other sync courses, Country2Sync (C2S) has episodes uniquely tailored for country songwriters; however, the overall program provides in-depth sync training to writers of all genres. The course goes beyond theory by incorporating audio and video clips to demonstrate how different musical styles impact a scene or advertisement. As a bonus, attendees get an exclusive opportunity to pitch one of their songs for live evaluation during a 2-hour online listening session, providing real-time feedback and a chance to get their music noticed by industry professionals.

The course is available for a six-week launch period. C2S is more than just a course; it’s a gateway for songwriters to break into the sync industry with expert knowledge and real-world opportunities.
About Nancy Peacock:
Nancy Peacock is the Founder and President of Washington Street Publishing, which focuses on placing songs of all genres of music into film, TV, trailers, and ads. Her love of music as a child led to her study of classical piano, which continued throughout college. Her parents' move from Indiana to Nashville exposed her to all genres of music, especially pop, rock, R&B, and soul. After receiving a graduate degree in American Studies, Nancy moved to Atlanta with her husband. It was there that she began ‘dreaming’ songs in the night. She embraced this gift of ‘writing’ and pursued the life of a songwriter. Nancy became actively involved in various music organizations. She served as head of the Atlanta Songwriters Association and was on the Atlanta Grammy Organization (NARAS) board. One of her most significant achievements during this time was having her song ‘Catch the Glory’ chosen by Bell South for the 1996 Paralympics. A move back home to Nashville opened a place for her in country music. Seizing an opportunity to promote songs, Nancy opened Washington Street Publishing in 2006. She quickly acquired artist cuts in the USA and had international songwriting success in England and Ireland. The song "Judgment Day," which she wrote with Queenie Mullinix, rose to #1 on the charts with Australia's 2019 Female Country Vocalist of the Year, Christie Lamb. Nancy’s love of mentoring and giving back to the music community led to her conference speaking career. She loves meeting and inspiring songwriters at events, such as West Coast Songwriters, Durango Songwriters Expo, Frank Brown Songwriters Festival, WIFT Conference, and GSC Focus Events. Nancy is a song evaluator with music organizations, such as Song U and The Songtuner. She has recently been asked to help with music supervision for films in Kentucky. Outside the music world Nancy is actively involved at St. George’s Episcopal Church and other Nashville art events. But her favorite time involves gatherings with her children, Jenni and Josh (wife Lia) and all her family in the Atlanta area.
About Queenie Mullinix:
Queenie Mullinix was born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in the South. Queenie Mullinix grew up listening to The Rat Pack, The Beatles, and Johnny Cash. As a veteran DIY performing songwriter, Queenie gained valuable experience in promotion and booking as a member of several notable Atlanta bands before going solo. She also learned the basics of recording and production with Billy Hume, Grammy award-winning producer (Infamous Stringdusters, Ludacris, Pitbull, Ying Yang Twins, Lil John+) at his Zone Studio. Her musical 'education' continued through touring, workshops, and conferences. In 2001, she and her husband, Dave Webb (bassist with Sugarland, Lorrie Morgan, Micky Dolenz, etc.), moved to Nashville. There she met Leonard Wolf, Addy & Emmy nominated music producer, eventually becoming creative director at Wolf Music & Sound Design. Working at the studio with ad agency creatives and brand clients set her up for what was to come. Another opportunity arose when Nancy Peacock asked her to come onboard as publicity director of Slugfest Records Nashville and then creative director at Washington Street Publishing. As a songwriter, she has released four albums and has had success with sync placements and songs cut by other artists. Queenie is proud to be mom and LaLa to her musically talented boys. As a grateful survivor, she donates her talents to breast cancer charities and enjoys playing with her church worship band.
