DR. AMANDA RASMUSSEN is Associate Professor of Plant Ecophysiology in the Division of Agriculture and Environmental Science in the School of Biosciences at the University of Nottingham. Born in Australia, she did her PhD at The University of Queensland, followed by a series of Fellowships first in Belgium before moving to the UK. Passionate about bringing science and the amazing world of plants to everyone, in addition to university classes and seminars (including in the US) she regularly engages with outreach programs and media communication of her science.
