South Carolina native
Brandon Wisham's rock-country roots take center stage in his second release,
“Better Than The Day,” available everywhere now. Written by Wisham, Sam Ellis and Lydia Sutherland, today's release is a fiery forget-you anthem full of grit and determination to look ahead to brighter days post-breakup. After releasing his debut single
“Back Together” in March, Wisham continues on the fast track as he forges his path in country music.
“I'm so excited to have my second single out!” shares Wisham. “This one was so fun to write and create. 'Better Than The Day' is a song that gives the brokenhearted hope that although it may seem dead-ended after a breakup, with time, things will get better. I'm looking forward to playing this one on the road!”
“Better Than The Day” reveals a new side of Wisham's vocals and songwriting capabilities, showcasing how he can bring the energy and belt an emotional ballad. His debut single "Back Together” was praised as “a stunning showcase of his raw, unfiltered artistry” by All Country News.
Wisham first hit the scene after posting a demo of “Pain Won't Last” on TikTok and immediately caught the attention of country star Bailey Zimmerman. The rising singer-songwriter was sparked to move to Nashville, ultimately joining Zimmerman on his headlining RELIGIOUSLY. THE TOUR. throughout 2024. Wisham also spent the past year on the road with country artist Josh Ross and writing on Music Row.
Wisham continues to map out a year full of excitement with tour dates and new music. The singer-songwriter's talent recently drew Tyler Hubbard in during a writing session, leading him to invite Wisham on the road for select dates nationwide this summer. He will also join Chase Matthew in Kansas City, Mo. on June 5. Wisham continues to showcase his live artistry, playing rounds at Whiskey Jam Toronto, The Listening Room, Raised Rowdy's Losers showcase and more.
