I recently had the chance to see review copies of several educational books from Ulysses Books for Young Readers.
These books are perfect for middle-grade readers, but even my high-school age kids enjoyed reading them - and I learned quite a bit as well! I highly recommend the mythology ones to anyone interested in world cultures or mythology - it's fun to compare stories across cultures. The WWII one is perfect for anyone interested in history, especially military history.
The writing style is easy to read for even reluctant readers, but fact-based and engaging, so more advanced readers will enjoy them as well.
