Music Minute - Restless Road: And Then Some

Country powerhouse band Restless Road releases one of their most personal songs to date with “And Then Some,” available everywhere now. Written by the trio's Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack alongside Joybeth Taylor and Colton Venner, today's release tells the relatable story of unexpectedly falling fast to suddenly wishing you had forever 'and then some' with your significant other.

“We always feel inspired to write songs based on our personal journeys, and this one perfectly captures moments from each of our individual lives at the same exact time,” shares Restless Road. “We hope that our listeners are able to find themselves in this special song and connect to it in the same way that we do.”

As each group member reaches the next stage of adulthood, between fatherhood and new relationships, they look forward to the future in “And Then Some,” acknowledging the bittersweet realization that forever may never feel like enough time together. The song details the start of being caught up in the instant connection with someone, followed by the hope that you'll be with them forever, as the group continues to prove that their “seamless harmonies are hard to beat” (Country Swag).

Today's track follows the release of “Last Thing I Deserve” in April. Trannie Anderson and Lindsay Rimes joined the trio in the writing room to create the meaningful ode dedicated to their better halves. The group reflects on the relationships that helped them get to where they are today, and all the ups and downs that came with it.

The trio recently wrapped their Goin' Out Like That Tour after visiting 20 cities this spring, including stops in major markets like Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and more. After a packed-out show at the iconic Troubadour in Los Angeles, All Country News touted the band's live performance as “redefining the sound of modern country with heart, harmony and a whole lot of grit.”

With more new music and touring on the way, the group continues to prove themselves as a mainstay country trio. Already named a Spotify Hot Country Artist To Watch and Opry NextStage Artist, the 2x ACM Award nominees look forward to an exciting second half of 2025.

ABOUT RESTLESS ROAD:
Made up of three different – yet complementary – voices, country band Restless Road (Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack) is known for their “flawless harmonies and individual vocal talents” (Billboard). Praised by American SongwriterBillboardPeopleTaste of Country and more, the band's powerhouse harmonies and soul-baring lyrics have accumulated over 375 million cumulative career streams and amassed a following of over 5 million on their social media platforms. As NBC's TODAY host Hoda Kotb put it, “That harmony…you feel it in your soul.”

In 2023, the band released their debut album Last Rodeo. The 18-track project features buzzworthy songs “Last Rodeo,” “Sundown Somewhere,” their SiriusXM The Highway No. 1 hit “Growing Old With You” and fan favorite “Bar Friends.” In 2024, Restless Road toured on their headline Last Rodeo Tour, selling out major markets both domestic and abroad, as well as playing the U.K. 's C2C: Country to Country Music Festival. The band wrapped up 2024 on the road with Brett Young and returned to the U.K. and Europe for the remainder of their headline tour, selling out night after night. This year, Restless Road has focused on releasing a steady stream of new music and embarking on a headline tour. Their Goin' Out Like That Tour saw sell outs across 20 cities nationwide and in Canada as they simultaneously released three stand out tracks – “Work On Me,” which Billboard tapped as one of their Must-Hear New Country Songs, “Goin' Out Like That” and “Last Thing I Deserve.” Most recently, they released one of their most personal tracks yet with “And Then Some,” available everywhere now.

With all signs indicating Restless Road as a contender for best new vocal group, the trio continues to write, sing and perform together as they take the next steps down country music's long and winding road.
