Best Kept Secrets Salon, a trusted leader in natural hair care with over 30 years of experience, is launching its first-ever 4C Hair Boot Camp, a hands-on training experience designed to empower girls ages 10 to 15 with the tools and confidence to care for their natural, textured hair.

Location: 4C Bootcamp, 2060 Yellow Springs Road, Frederick, MD 21702
Led by salon owner, educator, and beauty industry innovator Kim Abernathy, the program introduces young participants to the fundamentals of cosmetology, including:
- Natural hair styling
- Hair maintenance and care
- Locs, curling, coiling & braiding
- Parting, detangling, and understanding curl patterns
- Flat twisting techniques and more
Each camper receives a full haircare kit and daily lunch. Live Q&A sessions and hands-on instruction will ensure a fun and informative experience that builds both skill and self-esteem.
