Consumer Critique - The Hermit Wild-Caught Calamari Jerky

My family enjoys jerky, and we also eat seafood, so I was happy to have the opportunity to sample The Hermit Wild-Caught Calamari Jerky.

Jerky of any type is a great snack - high in protein, low in sugar, easily portable, shelf-stable, and very dense in protein-based calories for the serving size. This makes it a filling snack with no sugar crash, easy to take on all-day events, and a satisfying snack that won't take up much room in a bag.

I honestly had no idea what to expect calamari jerky to taste like - but it was definitely pretty good. Even if you don't like seafood, it's worth a try. The flavor options are ginger scallion, Thai chili lime, and Italian herb - all great savory options that weren't too spicy or salty for our family. The jerky is made from wild-caught squid with no added sugar and only clean ingredients - no preservatives and no MSG. It works in a keto or paleo diet, and is free of gluten, dairy, and soy. It's definitely a unique, sustainable snack! If you're interested in trying some, then check out The Hermit Online Shop.
