I have always been intrigued by plays that are re-imagined for modern times, instead of set in the timeline in which they were written. Now, I have a chance to promote a show that does that for the world of the Bible.
Testament, now streaming on Angel.com, has been reimaged to exist in an alt-modern era. After the resurrection turns things upside down, the Temple is trying to contain the news, worried about the Imperium regime and retaliation. As secrets come to light and miracles happen out in the open, it forces a reckoning with the consequences of choices.
