Music Minute - Anne Wilson: God Story EP

PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson continues to share her message of hope and healing with her new four-song EP, God Story, out now. Named after her soaring single, the project arrives as Wilson heads into her second weekend on the road opening stadiums for Morgan Wallen on his I'm The Problem Tour.

“The God Story EP marks the beginning of such a special new season of music for me,” Wilson shares. “These songs are rooted in my story, in God's faithfulness and in the hope He gives us in every moment. This is just the beginning. There's so much more ahead, and I can't wait to share!”

The EP opens with title track, “God Story,” an inspirational anthem rooted in personal testimony. Her vocals soar in “'Til The Road Runs Out,” a powerful, all-in plea dedicated to living life to the fullest, released alongside an all-new lyric video. “Devil Is Too” intertwines the Kentucky native's southern sass and bold faith. Closing the project with “Twenty Three,” she offers complete vulnerability in this gut-wrenching tribute to anyone who has lost a loved one.

A co-writer on each track, God Story is Wilson's first project release since her critically acclaimed sophomore album REBEL, which earned praise from Billboard for “fully fusing the two genres” and was hailed by People as a “trailblazing album.” The record became a defining moment in her burgeoning career, blending country and Christian influences with a bold, authentic voice that resonated with fans across both genres. Now, with God Story, Wilson builds on that foundation – weaving together country grit with Christian conviction to deliver songs that are both authentically her and universally uplifting.

Next up, Wilson will be returning to her home state of Kentucky on August 11 for a special benefit concert at Corbin Arena to help raise funds for families and communities impacted by the deadly tornado that struck Eastern Kentucky this May. Tickets for the one-night-only event are on sale now at annewilsonofficial.com. The show will also be livestreamed on VEEPS, with tickets available for purchase here.

ABOUT ANNE WILSON:
One of Nashville's most inspiring young trailblazers, Anne Wilson is a revolution in modern music. The Lexington, Ky. native, known for her transcendent vocal and down-to-earth storytelling, recently released REBEL, fusing the heart of Contemporary Christian Music with the sound of country. A bold musical statement with an even bolder message of faith, REBEL features her hopeful, healing debut country single “Rain In The Rearview” as well as chart-topping ballad “Strong,” which notched No. 1 at Christian radio and her follow-up Christian radio single “The Cross” (with Chris Tomlin). The genre-bending album follows her GRAMMY-nominated 2022 debut My Jesus, with the title track becoming a PLATINUM-certified No. 1 hit on Billboard's Christian Airplay chart. Since then, Wilson has tallied over one billion global streams, made her Grand Ole Opry debut and wrapped her entirely sold-out headlining My Jesus Tour and recent 27-stop The REBEL Tour in fall 2024. Already named a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch, one of CMT's Next Women of Country, and a 2024 Opry NextStage Artist, she has made high-profile appearances on TODAY and ACM Honors, while earning her first-ever CMT Music Awards nomination, as well as a Billboard Music Award. Wilson continues to share her message of hope and healing on the road this summer, joining Morgan Wallen's I'm The Problem Tour and releasing her new EP, God Story, out now. Unapologetically real, she brings purpose and conviction to every lyric — blending faith and country grit in a way that's entirely her own.
