BabyBuddha, the brand behind the industry-leading portable breast pump, proudly announces the launch of its new IBCLC Scholarship Program, designed to support aspiring International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs). The initiative reflects BabyBuddha’s ongoing commitment to champion mothers through access to expert care and community support. The program will begin during World Breastfeeding Week, recognized each August, and will be an ongoing initiative.
BabyBuddha aims to support moms and the full family in every step of their breastfeeding journey and that includes having a community of IBCLCs available to provide advice and guidance. IBCLCs provide expert clinical advice tailored to every family’s needs, helping to ease confusion and make mom feel comfortable during a very emotional time. Becoming an IBCLC requires significant time, dedication, and investment. Launching this scholarship program not only helps IBCLCs get their certification but provides moms around the country with even more resources.

BabyBuddha’s new program is designed to ease the financial burden of certification and help expand the network of qualified lactation consultants available to mothers worldwide.
Applications for the scholarship will be accepted through August 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM EDT. Selected recipients will be notified on August 27, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must meet all IBLCE exam prerequisites, including clinical hour requirements.
Must submit a personal statement and/or a letter of recommendation.
