Book Nook - Wild Moon: How the Lunar Phases Light Up Our World

I recently had the chance to review the beautifully illustrated Wild Moon: How the Lunar Phases Light Up Our World. It's a beautiful book that has features that help it grow with kids.

The moon is fascinating - and so is the nighttime. There are all sorts of creatures who are affected by the moon's light. Plus, since kids are usually asleep at night, they don't have the opportunity to explore and discover what happens while they're in bed.

This book has beautiful pictures, with just enough color to be interesting, but appropriately muted for night time. The cadence of words in the book is rhythmic and poetic, even without actual rhymes. Plus, each page features animal facts and information that will keep older readers engaged and learning about our world. At the back, there's even more information about moon phases and special names for full moons. I highly recommend this book for anyone trying to nurture curiosity about our natural world.
