A Week Away, currently available on Angel, is a show that will keep your whole family entertained. Targeted towards teens and young adults, but with energy and clean humor, everyone can enjoy this musical entertainment.
The series follows teens at Camp Aweegaway. Viewers will explore themes like trust, self-discovery, and friendship. The main character is a foster teen who goes reluctantly and somewhat defiantly to a Christian camp, doubting the hollow promises of faith. While the series has an obviously Christian message, it isn't preachy. The desire to belong and the pain of grief and longing will resonate with many viewers, especially those struggling to find their purpose.
