Light of the World opens in theaters September 5th. I had a chance to see a screener of this animated movie. Set thousands of years ago, as the Jewish world eagerly awaited the Messiah, it illustrates just how Jesus shook things up, taking his followers on an unexpected adventure.
There are a lot of movies about the life of Jesus out there. Like many others, this film aims to tell the story of Jesus' life and influence in a family-friendly way. It's engaging, with a unique animation style, and a good way to introduce kids to who Jesus was.
