Fun Fashion - Ear Cuffs and More

I like wearing fun earrings, and so does my daughter. I've always been impressed at just how many different types of ear jewelry there is nowadays. When I was younger, it was pretty much variations of hoops, studs, and dangly earrings. Anything else was rarely seen. Now there are tons of options, including things like classy ear cuffs and more normalization of piercing besides the lobe and upper cartilage.

One of my favorite types of ear cuffs is the kind that attaches to a regular piercing, like a chain cuff. I've seen some beautiful versions of this, with chains or dragons or other things like that. There are also beautiful ear wraps that hug even more of the ear, often using intricate designs to create a full ear statement.

The classic ear cuff is just a simple hoop style, sometimes adorned with stones. It can make a subtle accessory that is just different enough to draw attention, but not too bold for those who prefer understated accessories. These simple cuffs are perfect for stacking.

There are also options like this conch shield ear cuff which hug even more of the ear for a bolder statement. They still provide some flexibility in placement, since the cartilage is pretty flexible.

While less common, tragus ear cuffs can also be a unique option. Really, there are dozens of options; besides those listed above, there are chain cuffs, ear climbers, dipped, antihelix, antitragus, Scaphoid Fossa, and more! You can find simple, minimalist styles or go for maximum impact with bolder options..

Ear cuffs are also a great option for people who don't want the commitment of piercing an ear - especially a cartilage. Cartilage piercings can be more painful and more prone to infection, but ear cuffs allow for ear adornment in a way that doesn't require any piercing at all. They can make ear jewelry more of a bold statement, or add just a subtle something extra.

There are ear cuffs options for every style and every placement preference - what are some of your favorites? What other types of ear jewelry do you like - especially those that don't require any type of piercing?
