The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Minnesota’s leading small business advocacy organization, recently released a resource page focused on the Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) mandate that goes into effect on January 1st, 2026.
“NFIB has been a leading voice in the Paid Family and Medical Leave discussion, and as the mandate goes into effect, we want to keep small business owners in the know,” said NFIB Minnesota State Director Jon Boesche. “In addition to the basics of the mandate, there are several other developments that will impact small business owners. This hub will be an excellent resource for those preparing for January 1st.”
The webpage includes a recent PFML webinar, information employers need to know, previous news stories, and a place for small business owners to share experiences and concerns. This page will be updated as new information is announced.
