Music Minute - Kim Noller and Suzi Shelton: I Have a Dream

Award-winning Children’s songwriter, published author and composer, and elementary music educator Kim Noller joins forces with Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and Children's music artist Suzi Shelton to release an inspiring new single, “I Have a Dream.” Produced by two-time Emmy Award winner Carter Green of Greenjeans Studios in Wellington, KS, this beautiful song ushers in a brand new year filled with hope and the understanding that we have the power to make our dreams a reality when we come together with cooperative respect and love.

"Inspired by Dr. King’s famous speech,” says Kim, “I composed ‘I Have a Dream’ for my students to sing in our school music program. It is my first composition published by Excelcia Music Publishing for two-part treble voices with piano and optional flute. I’ve wanted to professionally record it for years but needed to find the right voice to blend with mine. The first time I heard Suzi Shelton’s 2018 album Hand in Hand I felt so much hope and peace! Her voice is so soothing and beautiful, and our songwriting instincts and styles are similar. It’s truly a dream come true to be harmonizing in spirit and song together!”

“I Have a Dream” is the second single — “I Belong” featuring Fyütch is the first — of a 10-song album releasing in Summer 2026.
