WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is sharing its love of education with a spring filled with programs and promotions meant to bring together their two favorite things – education and entertainment. WonderWorks is the ultimate go-to destination for those who want to combine learning with having fun, offering something for all ages and anyone’s interests. Now is a great time to spring into learning, because the indoor amusement park for the mind is highlighting education in the coming months and giving locals and visitors a chance to get in on all the action.
“Educational fun is our specialty here at WonderWorks!” said Joe Baumgartner, general manager at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge. “Whether you’re visiting us for a special event, with a field trip, or just for a weekend outing with the family, everyone is sure to have a blast.”
To celebrate their love of learning and the power of reading, WonderWorks Pigeon Forge is teaming up with local libraries during National Library Week, April 19-25, 2026. During this special week, those who sign up for a first-time library card with any Sevier County Library, the Pigeon Forge Library, or the Anna Porter Public Library will score one free all-access ticket to WonderWorks Pigeon Forge.
The free admission ticket will be provided by the library when signing up for a new card, while supplies last. The new library card and WonderWorks ticket will need to be shown at the admissions desk to redeem the offer. This special offer entices locals to get in on the wonders of reading at their local library and encourages them to celebrate at Pigeon Forge’s premier hub for education and entertainment.
Spring is also the ideal time for field trips to get out of the classroom, gain hands-on experience, and allow their students to bond with their peers before the end of the school year. WonderWorks provides the ultimate atmosphere for field trips, giving students a way to apply the things they have been studying in school to real world applications. During the field trip season, there will be hundreds of local students and their chaperones exploring all that WonderWorks has to offer, especially the many exhibits that delve into the wonders of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics).
The unique setting at WonderWorks creates a fun learning opportunity for students of all ages, making it the go-to spot for many schools across East Tennessee. The exhibits provide young learners a chance to engage in hands-on learning experiences, including topics such as physics, weather, sound, light, and more. Students can also take on challenges, get artistic, and make memories with their classmates.
“We pride ourselves on our great relationships with local schools, so the spring field trip season is something we’re always looking forward to. A trip to WonderWorks is a fantastic opportunity for students, teachers, and chaperones to let their imaginations run wild while learning something new,” said Ellen Holland, education sales manager at WonderWorks Pigeon Forge.
Local educators will also want to watch the WonderWorks social media pages for the return of Teacher Appreciation Days this spring. This special event is Wonderworks’ way of saying “Thank you” for all of the hard work educators put in during the school year. It will take place during May 2026, and it will allow local teachers and school to celebrate the end of the school year with a free visit to WonderWorks Pigeon Forge. More info on registration will be announced soon.
