Here’s a look at what today’s buyers are searching for:
- 74% of homebuyers are prioritizing new or recently built homes
- 71% say the neighborhood is a primary dealmaker when evaluating a home
- 42% of homebuyers prefer closed floor plans
- 41% say the kitchen is the most important room in the home
Modern (38%), Farmhouse (29%), and Colonial (26%) are ranking as the most popular home styles among Americans, and buyers say they would be willing to pay an average of $182,189 more for a home that matches their preferred architectural style.
