I recently had a chance to see a copy of a new children's book by Little Gestalten, Bye Bye Baby Teeth by Lada Chizhova. It's a fun book that can help kids celebrate the differences in a very real process that all of us experience - losing teeth. Part picture book with a story, part education, the book has lovely nostalgic-style illustrations and a relatable story to teach kids about teeth.
In kid-friendly ways, readers will learn about anatomy, why roots dissolve and how baby teeth are replaced by adult teeth; a look at dental tools and how they are part of hygiene; and also cultural traditions from around the world that look at how different countries celebrate the milestones of a lost tooth.
