Milo and Fiadh's Halloween, written by Anita Cheng and illustrated by Adrian Chan, follows a little dog and his best friend from a paper-spider surprise to costumes, trick-or-treating, autumn leaves and a cozy cuddle at home. It is an independently published, 71-page paperback for ages 2–6, inspired by real people and pets. Anita's text is entirely human-written; Adrian starts with hand sketches and develops the visuals in Blender/Cinema 4D; AI augments the artist-controlled toolset.
With simple, toddler-friendly language, playful sound effects, sensory details, and a cozy read-aloud rhythm, Milo and Fiadh’s Halloween captures the excitement of dressing up, exploring a familiar neighbourhood after dark, and sharing a little safe spooky fun with someone you love.
