Eat2explore is a great gift option for anyeone who loves backing, travel, or the chance to explore new cultures. I had a chance to try out some of their boxes lately, and I was very satisfied.
Each box includes recipes, information about the target country (or countries), a cooking gadget, and prepackaged mixed (such as spices) to make it easy to cook cuisine from around the world. They aren't full kits with all the ingredients, which helps make them much more convenient (everything is shelf-stable) but what the company includes is the kinds of mixes that are either more difficult to find or require buying several different bottles of spices, only to use a few of them in the recipe. That helps prevent food waste.- instead of spices sitting on shelves for years, the perfect amount is included to use in the recipe to try it out (and then if you decide to use the spices again later, you know what they taste like and whether it's worth getting them).
The information booklets for the country boxes are also well-designed. They provide information that is easy for even kids to understand, but presented in a way that adults can learn something too. They also include suggested adult drink pairings to really elevate the meal, making the boxes a gift that is appropriate for any age.
The bundles had a little more kid-oriented language, but the recipes and some of the information will still be great for adults - and the foods options are delicious, authentic recipes from all over the world.
The baking bundle provides three boxes - Germany, Europe, and Global - to enjoy flavors from seven different countries. The box I saw was the Global box, and I was really happy because it included dishes I never would have thought to make on my own, but turned out amazing. They also have an Advent bundle to act as a countdown to Christmas with a new mystery box every four days.
Now is a perfect time to check them out, since they're offering 10% off! These boxes would be enjoyed by foodies, homeschooling families, or anyone who just wants to try out some new recipes.
