Gibson, the iconic global instrument brand, has shaped sound across generations and genres of music, becoming one of the most relevant, played, and loved brands around the world. As part of Gibson’s commitment to artist-first culture and elevating new music from emerging musicians around the world, the Gibson Artist Spotlight highlights an evolving roster of musicians who are celebrated across Gibson’s global channels.
Paula Pera y El Fin de los Tiempos is the musical universe of Colombian singer songwriter Paula Pedraza, an artist who blends indie rock, retro pop, and the emotional drama of Latin American música de plancha into a sound that feels both nostalgic and boldly contemporary. Her music channels influences from Anglo indie to icons like Jeanette, Yuri, and 90s Shakira, resulting in songs defined by raw honesty, emotional depth, and a voice that moves effortlessly between fragility and power.
Since emerging in 2021, Paula has established herself as one of the most distinctive and authentic voices in Colombia’s indie scene. Her music has brought her to some of the country’s most prestigious stages, including Festival Estéreo Picnic in 2022 and 2024, Movistar Arena, Teatro Colón, Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, Teatro Pablo Tobón Uribe, Festival Cordillera 2026, BIME Live 2026, and, most recently, a sold-out solo concert at Teatro Libre de Chapinero.
In 2023, Paula was selected for Amazon Music’s Rompe Colombia, a career-defining milestone that propelled her first tour across Mexico and expanded her reach throughout Latin America. Her debut album, Fin de los Tiempos (2024), earned a nomination at the Premios Nuestra Tierra, solidifying her arrival as a powerful new voice in Spanish‑language alternative music. Paula is currently crafting her second album, noquieroquemequieras, due out May 2026—a project that promises an even more intimate, honest, and expansive artistic vision.
Rooted in Bogotá and driven by a deep emotional compass, Paula Pera continues to shape a sound that is unmistakably her own: melancholic, cinematic, and profoundly human.
