Music Minute - Trey Calloway: Left Hand

Award-winning singer-songwriter Trey Calloway just released his new single, “Left Hand.” Premiered by Country Evolution and featured on Spotify’s Country Hits 2026 playlist, with nearly 1.2 million followers, the emotional country track captures the heartbreak of a relationship that was supposed to lead to a lifetime together but ended before those dreams became reality. Through heartfelt lyrics and vivid storytelling, Calloway reflects on lost love, broken plans, and reaching for a drink to ease the pain while trying to move forward.

“‘Left Hand’ pairs the heavy, raw sadness of a classic 90s country breakup song with a high-energy, modern rhythm. My new producer, Phil O’Donnell, perfectly captured that bittersweet mix with an upbeat groove that brings to life the regret of a love that never happened. It’s all about wishing you had a gold band on that never ‘should have left’ hand. I poured my heart into making this record and can’t wait for y’all to hear it!” - Trey Calloway

Trey is set to release his new EP, Honkytonk Generation, on November 6, introducing a new chapter in his music alongside producer and co-writer Phil O’Donnell. With more than two decades in the business, O’Donnell has penned No. 1 hits for George Strait, Blake Shelton and Montgomery Gentry, while also working with Cody Johnson, Chris Janson, Craig Morgan, Clay Walker, Aaron Watson and Craig Campbell. His experience and traditional country roots bring an exciting new element to Trey’s upcoming project.

As Trey continues to build momentum, he is adding new dates to his growing live schedule, with performances throughout the country including his milestone first appearance at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
