So many parents spend so much time shuttling their kids back and forth to dozens of activities. But kids don't really need that much organized time. Try to simplify the amount of activities your kids are in. Find other parents to carpool with - you don't have to attend every single practice and game to let your kids know you're involved. Even easier - find activities that require fewer commitments, or none at all. Play pick-up games of sports with your kids instead of leagues. Attend crafting workshops sponsored by stores instead of signing up for organized classes. Look for one-day community education experiences instead of multi-week ones. You'll probably save more than just time: money in gas and fees, and sanity!
Got any other time-saving tips when it comes to kids' activities?
