Today's Website Spotlight is for those of you in the market for contact lenses.
There are all sorts of lens sites, each claiming to have a low price guarantee or each one with a different special discount. Either way, if you get your contacts online, odds are they'll be much cheaper than if you buy them through an eye doctor (for me, it's less than half the price to get them online versus at Pearle Vision). But how do you know which is the cheapest?
There's a site called LensShopper.com that acts a an aggregate for the major contact websites, and will tell you what the cheapest is for your contact type, since that varies by brand - and sometimes by day. Using the top tabs, you can find a list of contact sites, or contact brands, that are available. They also collect all of the coupons offered on the sites for even more savings. As an added bonus, you can ask an eye care professional your questions about contacts. Next time you're shopping for contacts, check it out!
