From the website: "Visit the center to learn more about the Mississippi River and its role as a transportation corridor, recreation resource, natural habitat and source for jobs and drinking water. Check out the wall of maps, discover the dangers of logging, and take a '73 Barracuda for a spin to discover the impact I-94 had on the surrounding community. Visit the Webber Baths and local quarry, and observe the changes in the Mississippi's water quality. Hunt for building features constructed of sunflower seed shells, wheat and recycled plastic. Programming at the Carl W. Kroening Interpretive Center is provided year-round by Three Rivers Park District education staff. Nature, recreation and local Mississippi River history programs are offered for all ages."
