Consumer Critique: Bounty (and Giveaway)

I received a roll of paper towels from Bounty to review along with the Soul Food Cook-Off booklet pictured above.

I pretty think paper towels are paper towels. I buy what's cheapest and don't pay much attention. Since I usually use rags for everything except the bathroom, I don't use paper towels much. However, I was pleased with the performance of Bounty. I didn't have to use as many towels as I have to with some generic brands, and they were very easy to tear off the roll compared to some store brands. They also felt softer, which would probably be a benefit if I used them to clean faces and hands. My favorite plus, though, was the durability. Bathroom messes are yucky, so it was very nice not to have the towels break through and tear while I was using them.

Bounty has a variety of types of towels, plain and with prints, and napkins. The website also has some fun family-friendly activities (and a honey-do list maker!) which are nice extras.

Bounty has agreed to provide three copies of the booklet (with some yummy meal ideas) and paper towels as giveaway prizes. To enter, leave a comment (or email me) with your favorite comfort food dish. Deadline is February 7th.
