#papermatemom I recently had a chance to have a party sponsored by PaperMate to help promote several new products and a new commercial. The party pack came with all sorts of fun activities that the attendees really enjoyed - and that anyone can do, like writing notes for kids' lunchboxes. My toddler had fun helping make Valentines too.
PaperMate's new products include:
- Paper Mate Gel Pens – These are brightly colored, water-resistant ink pens. They didn't smudge at all, which I've sometimes experienced with gel pens. None of the party attendees had any issue with getting ink on our hands while writing.
- Paper Mate Design Pen – These are pens that are supposed to look high-quality at a durable price. I'm not really one to care about the appearance of my pens, but some people really liked the idea of having pens that looked classy.
- Paper Mate Biodegradable Pen and Mechanical Pencil – These are supposed to biodegrade in a regular home compost in about a year. I think that is a really great idea - I hate the idea of throwing away things if I can avoid it so I'm glad someone's coming up with a way to make this biodegradable. They write as well as any other pen and pencil, so you don't have to sacrifice quality.
- Paper Mate Silhouette Mechanical Pencil – This is designed to be more comfortable than the average mechanical pencil, and I agree. I don't often write with mechanical pencils, but this works well. My husband actually likes the fact that it's wider on the bottom, since he has really large fingers and his hands cramp up when he does a lot of writing with most writing utensils. That hasn't been a problem with this. The side click advance does take some getting used to, but in theory it's easier than the traditional top click advance.
If you need new writing utensils, go check out the products offered by Paper Mate! Also, be sure to keep an eye on the website - there's a section for "offers" that says "coming in March" so I'm guessing there will be some coupons available soon!
