Consumer Critique: NFCC Publications

I was sent some digital copies recently of a few publications from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling and asked to highlight them for you.

Right now, the NFCC has a variety of publications available that can be ordered for around $15 each for most of them. There is also a free DVD about avoiding foreclosure. These publications all come in English and Spanish, and cover topics such as bankruptcy (alternatives and recovery), college credit, and home ownership. Although I'm not in a position to need the information involving bankruptcy, I felt that it provided some clear tips that would be very useful as far as looking at spending patterns and creating a better plan for the future.

These publications can be ordered, and you can also look for an NFCC member agency near you if you find yourself facing severe credit issues. For more information and tips, you can also follow the NFCC on Facebook and Twitter.
