Website Spotlight: AccuWeather

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of AccuWeather. All opinions are 100% mine.

I use weather sites often. My husband and I share a car, which means it's important to know if it's too cold to go out, or if it's going to rain and I need to use a poncho or umbrella when we walk to wherever we need to go. We also go camping frequently in the summer, and although we like to be prepared for any weather, just in case, the forecasted temperature and weather affect what we plan to bring. Needless to say, I often use weather websites.

AccuWeather has been recently redesigned in an effort to make information better organized. One example is displaying forecast and radar together on the same page, without having to click to another page to see radar. I like this feature, since most of the time when I'm looking at a weather page it's to find out if it's going to rain soon. They've also tried to reduce clutter and improve navigation.

The mobile site is very light on graphics, too, which means it loads quickly on a web-enabled phone. this means it's easy to check the weather forecast from anywhere (something else that will come in handy when camping, since we seem to run into at least one severe thunderstorm or tornado warning or watch each year when we're camping).
