Parenting Pointers: Cravings
Do you crave things at times? Are you addicted to caffeine, or have points in the day where you crave sugar, or go to extreme efforts to get attention? Figure out what it is that you need instead. Do you need the energy boost? Try going for a mini-walk or taking a power nap (it is possible, even with kids). Do you need to feel fulfilled? Try doing something out-of-the-ordinary for someone else, like writing a note or giving a massage. It just may be a healthier way to kill those cravings.
