I recently had a chance to try out Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales for Wii.
I was so excited to try out a Wii game - especially a kid-friendly one! My daughter has seen Cars and really gets a kick out of anything Pixar, so even though she's only a preschooler, she had a lot of fun with it. I'm sure she'll enjoy it even more as she gets older and is more able to figure out what's going on.
Gameplay is competitive or cooperative (we stuck with cooperative options since she can't really do much independently yet) for up to four players and there are a lot of different things (30 games) to do based on the "tall tales" Mater tells (if you haven't seen any, you're missing out - there's a whole DVD based just on the stories he tells). The animation is what you'd expect from a Disney Pixar release, and the whole thing provides great family fun (especially if your kids are a little older than mine and can participate even more fully).
Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales is available on Amazon or from any other place where video games are sold.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Disney Interactive Studios and received the Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales Wii game to facilitate my review.
