Consumer Critique: Holiday Showcase

I got quite the package for a mom party the other day - the Holiday Showcase from MomSelect.

The box was filled with some great toys and games that are perfect for gift-giving! Build-a-Bear Smallfrys are adorable mini stuffed animals packaged in French-fry style containers. The 3D Sneaky Floor Puzzle Singin' Sea Creatures has large, chunky pieces that are perfect for preschoolers to learn how to put puzzles together. It's several feet long, and there's a 3D design that pops out when the glasses are worn. Play-Doh has some great new offerings out: the Play-Doh Mega Fun Factory is only $10 at that link through Amazon (regular $34.99), and the Play-Doh Elmo Shape and Spin Playset is $7.50 at Amazon (66% off). I love Play Doh, and so does my toddler.

Although it's tiny, one of my favorite things in the box was the Playmobil Child's First Day At School. The figures each have a Schultüte, which is a German first-day-of-school tradition. As a German teacher, that was great to see!

Disclosure: I received samples of the products to facilitate the review.
