Parenting Pointers: Fix-It

Have a spot for all broken items to collect. That way you can take care of all of the "fix-it" jobs at once, and the broken items aren't mixed in with the usable ones. Consider dedicating one drawer in a desk for broken items, and keep it stocked with fabric glue, elmers, clear tape, a screwdriver, and an all-purpose heavy duty glue.
