I had never heard of this charity before, Little Kids Rock. Little Kids Rock supports over 70,000 kids who are currently getting a music education due, at least in part, to this charity. LKR provides a unique rock and pop-based music education program, which for many kids is more appealing than a more traditional curriculum. The benefits of being involved in music are huge - learning cooperation in ensembles, learning about different cultures through music, and learning discipline and problem-solving skills while practicing.
