Consumer Critique: 2Cellos

Here's a fun new musical act with a great story: 2Cellos. Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser made their own video of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" and it quickly got millions of views. Sony Masterworks signed them to a record deal and Elton John asked them to go on tour with him.

The duo deserves the attention. The music is fun to listen to. As a classically trained musician, I can really appreciate the technique. But you don't have to be a classical musician to enjoy the CD, since they're reinterpretations of hits by U2, Coldplay, and even Nirvana! They're currently on tour, with upcoming stops in NY, IN, OH, MI, Brazil, a long stint in Las Vegas, and then hitting Europe and Australia.
