Consumer Critique: Hershey's Air Delight

I recently saw advertising for new Hershey's Air Delight, and I also got an opportunity to try them for review. I have to admit, they weren't quite what I expected. I pictured a fluffier texture with the description "aerated." But they were still tasty.

I decided to try the product in several ways. First, I ate it at room temperature, the way it's supposed to be eaten. Then we ate it refrigerated and frozen, which is how we typically eat our chocolate. The room temperature one definitely was a bigger difference from traditional chocolate. It has a lighter texture and melts more quickly for a creamier feel. The refrigerated and frozen ones weren't as different from traditional chocolate, but the aerated parts did create an interested mouth feel when frozen or refrigerated.

Hershey's Air Delight has the same delicious taste as Hershey's milk chocolate and comes as a bar or as Hershey's kisses.

Disclosure: I received samples of Hershey's Air Delight to facilitate this review.
