Consumer Critique: Yo-Yo Ma - The Goat Rodeo Sessions

I recently had the opportunity to review a very fun album, The Goat Rodeo Sessions. There is such a variety here that anyone will enjoy it, classical music lover or not. Yo-Yo Ma is incredibly talented, and this set of music showcases his versatility, as it blends a wide variety of styles - I heard bits of classical, country, jazz, and folk influence in just the first few tracks. Plus, the pace of the music isn't all the same - some are very peppy, others are more laid-back. All of them are suitable for listening to in the car, while working around the house, or as a lullaby CD, since even the upbeat ones don't get too loud. If you like Yo-Yo Ma or enjoy classical music in any form, check out the CD - you can listen to samples before you buy at the Amazon link above.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of the CD to facilitate this review.
