New Games!

I wanted to highlight a few new games I just found out about - and I definitely want to go and look for some of these, because they sound fun.

My Keepon Interactive Robot is the height of two tennis balls and reacts to touch, listens to music, and dances in rhythm. It's based on Keepon® Pro, a $30,000 research robot created by two scientists who have been using Keepon in playrooms to study social development and autism. A portion of every My Keepon toy purchase will be used to distribute Keepon® Pro research robots to researchers and practitioners investigating the use of robots in autism therapy.

Tetris Link is a board game version of the video game favorite. Players take turns rolling the die and dropping Tetriminos, the iconic Tetris playing pieces, into the tower. The object of the game is to link Tetriminos of the same color to earn points, while blocking opponents from scoring. The game promotes strategic thinking, spatial reasoning, organizational and fine motor skills.

The Next Generation 20Q has light effects and screen animations as it senses what you are thinking. It features the most eerily accurate artificial intelligence (A.I.) to date.omes in three colors: red, blue and pink.

Ultimate Mastermind has an extra code peg brings the familiar challenge to a new dimension. With 59,000 possible solutions, it’s a mind-bending challenge every time the game is played. The codemaker starts by setting up a pattern of five code pegs. The codebreaker must then use deductive reasoning skills to solve the code. Once the code is broken, players switch positions. The player who cracks their opponent’s series of codes in the least number of guesses wins the game.

Happy Feet Two Freezing Frenzy features a battery-powered Erik, star of Happy Feet Two, who shivers and shakes, tossing ice cubes everywhere. Each player chooses a color and tries to collect all six matching ice cubes. The game is tied to the 2011 Happy Feet Two, a follow up to the 2006 Academy Award-winning Best Animated Feature Film, Happy Feet.

The Smurfs Whirl & Twirl Clumsy Game is a new spin on the classic matching game! On every turn, Clumsy Smurf spins around. When he stops in front of a player, he gives out a card. Players collect cards and match them to their game boards.
