Consumer Critique: Healthy Directions

I recently had the chance to review products from Dr. Tabor's Slim & Beautiful weight loss program. The products were better than I expected. I received three flavors of crisps, which were fine, although I don't really like salty snacks (but my husband and mom liked them, especially the BBQ flavor). I also received two meal replacement bars. One was a texture that I expected, and was decent - not spectacular, but something I could definitely use if I was going to do the program. The other was really good. It was a nougaty inside covered with vanilla yogurt, and it was like eating dessert. Then there were two shakes, which I actually made really thick like pudding by adding less than half the water called for, and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.

These products - and many others - are available at Healthy Directions, a collection of products and information developed by doctors with a wide range of topics. The site is informative and easy to search and navigate. Plus, right now you can get 15% off your purchase with the code BLOGLUV. There's also a community aspect where you can connect with other people in a doctor-guided setting. Check it out to see if there's something that will work for you and your family.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary 7-piece kit from Dr. Tabor's Slim & Beautiful program to facilitate this review.
