Consumer Critique: Date Your Wife

I recently had the chance to review Date Your Wife by Justin Buzzard. I liked it - although the book wasn't targeted to me, it was targeted to all the husbands out there who have lost the sense of romance that comes from dating. In today's world, it's easy to get caught up in what needs to be done from day-to-day, especially if you have kids, but it's hard to carve out couple time. It's important, though, or when the kids are finally gone, you may find yourself in the position of needing to get to know your spouse all over again.

The book is a short, easy read. It contains a lot of practical tips, and the rationale behind dating your spouse. Even if you're the wife reading this, it's still good to get the tips - many of them work both ways, or are things you can suggest to your husband as well (we all know us wives are good at that). The book provides a Biblical basis for love in your marriage as well, which is perfect for those who are in Christian marriages.

The book will be available June 30th.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary e-copy of Date Your Wife to facilitate this book.
