Fun Freetime: GazziliWorld

GazziliWorld, develops educational applications for preschoolers, focusing on creating apps that aren’t just games, but are engaging experiences that make learning fun for kids. GazziliWords, which helps children understand hard to explain words, reached iTunes Top 10 list for Educational Applications. Also currently available are GazziliShapes (which teaches kids about different shapes) and GazziliPuzzles (which teaches preschoolers concentration, problem-solving, and dexterity) are available to download on iPhones, iPads, and the iPod Touch. There are also math (yay!), science, and letter apps in development.

The apps are adorable, and very child-friendly. They're engaging, too - they held my girls' attention, and the puzzles and words apps were right at my 4-year-old's level (she's pretty bright, so I think they'd also be engaging for kids a little older). The shapes app wasn't as interesting to her, since shapes are pretty easy for her, but that one was great for my 2-year-old (almost three).

Disclosure: I received complimentary copies of the GazziliWorld apps to facilitate this review.
