Consumer Critique: AZ Books

I was recently sent Discoveries and Inventions (Encyclopedia with Flaps), published by AZBooks, to review. I really liked it. There was a lot of information on each page, and the book covered a lot of material, including time, flight, vehicles, health, and more. Each page was a mini history and science lesson. My 3-year-old wasn't interested for long, but my 5-year-old was fascinated. The book would be appropriate for older kids, too, with the amount of information it contains.

AZ Books publishes several types of books. They have tons of pop-up books, a selection of electronic books (including fairytales and Spanish learning), a series of encyclopedias like the book I got, and then several different types of activity and craft books suitable for kids in many different age groups. Every book has a suggested retail price of less than $20. The international line has books in 32 languages and is aimed at kids from birth through age ten.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of Discoveries and Inventions to facilitate this review.
