Are you in the market for a new vehicle - and are you looking for a sporty car to balance out the conservative family vehicle? Scion has put out the Scion FR-S which aims to make cars sporty without sacrificing value. Drawing on Toyota's motorsport heritage, features include 200 horsepower and 151 pounds of torque. It is designed with a nod to the Sports 800, the 2000 GT, and the Corolla GTS.
I honestly don't know much about sports cars, but I do like the infographic (shown below). It looks like all the car stats that you see when you're playing racing themed video games. I'm more interested in the car's safety and handling, but I know many husbands (mine included) appreciate a sportier-feeling car - especially if the other vehicle they're driving (as in our household) is the stodgy soccer mom minivan.
The FR-S is currently available (launched this summer) so if you're looking for a sporty car, find a dealer near you and check it out for a test drive! Just don't get red. That's such a stereotype! The 2013 will come in seven colors, as shown below (don't let the names fool you; it's black, blue, grey, red, orange, silver, and white, as far as I can tell).
Brought to you by the all new Scion FR-S
