Parenting Pointers: Memory Trick
If you're trying to focus on something you'll have to remember, or you're helping a kid study for a big test, remember the importance of rest time. After you study something important, give your brain 5-10 minutes off to let it sink in before jumping to the next task. This down time helps solidify things in your brain instead of just putting things in short-term memory.
