Hide 'Em and Hatch 'Em Eggs, currently available on Amazon.com, would make a unique Easter basket treat or spring gift. I like that they're cute, and small, and don;t involve candy. They do require some time to hatch, but it can be a good lesson in patience. If you order them now you can still get them in time for Easter. They come in packs of three - great for multiple kids or if you want to try hatching one yourself first.
