Caring Causes: Feed the Future

Did you know that one out of every eight people worldwide goes to bed hungry every night? Many of these are mothers, who pass on the cycle of undernourishment to their children, even during the first 1000 days of life when nutrition is most critical. In fact, a quarter of children in the world suffer from malnourishment. Hunger actually kills more people than AIDS, malaria, and TB combined - and the vast majority of people who are chronically hungry live in developing countries, especially rural areas.

These facts come from organizations devoted to ending hunger, including the FAO, Feed the Future, the WFP, 1000days, and UNICEF. They're promoting the Feed the Future initiative, focusing on global food security and hunger solutions. You can learn more at the website, or by watching the video:
