Parenting Pointers: Home with Robin

Going from accomplished CEO to first time mommy is no easy task, and it’s the theme of a new webisode series from Nest Productions. ‘Home with Robin’ features celebrity designer and new mommy Robin Wilson, as she raises her new baby daughter while continuing to run her namesake company Robin Wilson Home – and share tips with women as she moves along the journey.

This week’s webisode is perhaps the most important and emotional yet, focusing on the really important things in life and is guaranteed to pull at the heartstrings of all who see it.

“In today’s fast paced world where many moms are trying to balance a career, a family and everything else going on, it’s easy to overlook the important things in life,” Wilson says. “What if tomorrow never comes?  What if you develop an aneurism or tumor?  Life is not about your professional resume or how many awards you’ve received, but about spending time with your loved ones, reading to your kids, being a good mom and wife, and living each day as if it was your last.”

Moms around the world have been following the trials and tribulations of Wilson after she announced her pregnancy; moved from the busy urban lifestyle of Manhattan to the suburbs of New Jersey ; prepared to give birth while continuing to do media appearances, speaking engagements and photo shoots; and watched as she designed her new nursery and experienced false labor.

“I’m thrilled that the Home with Robin webisodes series is resonating with so many women,” Wilson says.  “I’m hopeful that sharing my experiences with other women will show them they’re not alone in this journey we call life.  Together we’re stronger than we are alone.”
