"Lost and Found" is a heartwarming story written by Oliver Jeffers about a boy who suddenly finds a lost penguin, and is determined to help it back to where it belongs. The illustrations are rich detailed and the story is fantastical enough to capture a child's imagination, yet still has a solid lesson about friendship. The book became an international best-seller, and has now been made into a great family film. The Lost and Found DVD adds a great musical score and narration to animation inspired by the book. At 24 minutes, it's a great length for younger kids - and includes a fun "making of" section that is really interesting to my older child, who loves to see how things are made.I have a chance to give away a copy. To enter, leave a comment with the most unusual thing your child has ever found. Deadline is October 28th.
