Consumer Critique: The A to Z of Children's Health

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Whether you're a new or experienced parent, you've probably had health questions about your kids at some point - questions that aren't quite worth calling the doctor about, but it's hard to sort through the conflicting information you may find on the Internet. The pediatric experts at the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children (Sickkids) have compiled a comprehensive health guide that is easy to look through, and contains the most pressing information about topics such as tantrums, teething, and tummy troubles. It's designed to included virtually every day-to-day issue that may come up from ages 0-10. This guide is worth having even for experienced parents, because it's reassuring to find out from someone else - someone with expertise - that what your child is going through is perfectly normal.

Photos and illustrations make it easy for parents to see examples, and the layout makes it easy to quickly identify the key information. It even includes rarer conditions such as spina bifida and endocarditis, all in a non-panic-inducing explanation that uses appropriate medical terms, but isn't hard to understand. It would make an awesome gift for a new parent!
